Global Food Week 2026 in Abu Dhabi: What to Expect at the Largest Edition Yet
Global Food Week is set to return to Abu Dhabi from 6–8 October 2026, bringing its largest edition yet to the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. The event will connect food and agriculture businesses from around the world while giving visitors the chance to discover new products, meet local producers and explore food and agricultural innovations.
A New Way to Shop at the Show
For the first time, Global Food Week will feature a dedicated business-to-consumer platform called Shop at the Show. This area allows visitors to interact directly with exhibitors and purchase products on site, adding a retail dimension to the event’s traditional trade focus.
Local and International Products Under One Roof
Visitors can browse products from both local and international brands, with international pavilions showcasing products and innovations from around the world. The Farmers Market will also return, offering fresh produce from local farmers alongside items such as dates and honey.
A programme of masterclasses and workshops will run throughout the event, giving attendees the opportunity to learn from specialists through hands-on sessions and demonstrations.
Inside The Beverage Zone
The Beverage Zone will invite visitors to explore the world of specialty coffee and matcha, sample different drinks and learn more from experts.
Honey Takes Centre Stage
Honey will play a bigger role at this year’s event with the inaugural Abu Dhabi Honey Symposium, organised by the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) in collaboration with Apimondia.
Alongside the symposium’s talks, workshops and demonstrations, visitors can explore more than 40 beekeeping booths and UAE-produced honey. A global Honey Tasting Platform will also offer samples from around the world, with opportunities to learn about different flavours, origins and varieties.
The symposium will bring together beekeepers, honey producers, researchers and industry experts to explore beekeeping and honey production. Workshops will cover topics including honey sensory evaluation, apitherapy and bee venom therapy.
Building on the 2025 Edition
Global Food Week follows its 2025 edition, which attracted more than 40,000 visitors and featured more than 2,000 exhibitors and brands from 75 countries.
